Processing Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need a Brand Inspection?
Yes. Brand Inspection Required on all beef even home raised, must be dated within 10 days of slaughter. If no brand inspection is provided a $75 charge will be assessed IF we can get a brand inspector out here. If NOT, beef will be sent home.
Do you take the offal/hide?
We dispose of all offal and hide, aside from heart, liver, tongue, and tail as requested by customer.
When do I submit my cut sheets?
Must be turned in within 7 days of drop off for beef and within 2 days of drop off for pigs.
How are my cuts packaged?
See cut sheet for details on how your meat will be processed by type.
